WHAT  IS  S T A R S ?

S T A R S  is a novel and peculiar initiative of the Diocese of Palghat that aims to choose and mould children of high intellectual caliber thereby create a unique group that can influence and guide the society in the future by being at the helm. It further dreams to help them to be faithful and consistent throughout their lives by way of giving them intense and integral formation in Spiritual, Intellectual and Human realms.

THE MISSION OF  S S

·       Find out and help the promising youngsters and make them capable of leading the society and the nation.

·       Help them to be deep-rooted in Christian Morality and Values of Faith.

·       Ensure that the S T S members grow with a sense of Social Commitment and Love for the Country.

·       Make sure that the S T S members become capable of leading the public in their struggle against Social Evils and Injustice.

·       Endeavour to gift the nation a ‘leadership circle’ of Spiritual, Human and Intellectual Integrity.


 

THE VISION OF S T S

S T S dreams the day when the top echelons of the administrative mechanism of the nation is led by the people who are deep rooted in human values and who tenaciously uphold these values despite the unrelenting challenges that always confront them. When the signs of the time herald the very true meaning and integrity of humanity at risk, we need people of right spiritual foundation, moral convictions and sense of social justice to make our tomorrows brighter, upright and above all the dignity and integrity of human life inviolable.
